UAE national carrier Etihad Airways has launched its ‘Sizzling Summer’ sale that offers discounted prices on its economy and business fares from Abu Dhabi to select destinations across its global network.

The following are a summary of some of the key discounted routes:
• In the Middle East, passengers can fly to Amman from Dhs895, and Istanbul from Dhs935. Economy class fares to Tel Aviv from the UAE capital also start at Dhs795.

• On its Europe routes, Etihad is offering flights to Vienna from Dhs1,195 in economy and Dhs13,495 in business class. The business class fares to Munich start at Dhs13,995, while the same to Rome begins at Dhs14,995.

• As for its Asian network, Etihad is offering Dhs2,395 economy fares to Manila and a starting ticket rate of Dhs2,495 to Bangkok. Business class fares to Seoul begin from Dhs17,995.

• On its North American network, Etihad is offering tickets to Chicago with business class prices starting at Dhs20,995.

Etihad recently launched unlimited and free inflight social media messaging access on its widebody fleet. By way of its Wi-Fly Chat packages, everyone flying on those aircraft will benefit from complimentary messaging throughout their entire flight by signing in with their Etihad Guest membership or by enrolling online before flying to benefit immediately. Additionally, Etihad has rolled out Wi-Fly Surf packages that offer unlimited data access for a flat fee for the duration of the flight on its widebody aircraft. For flights under seven hours, the Surf package costs US$9.99 for Etihad Guest members. For flights over seven hours, Etihad Guest members can avail of the Surf package for a fee of US$19.99.

Owing to a recent MoU signed between Etihad and Emirates, customers of each airline will be able to purchase a single ticket to fly into either Dubai or Abu Dhabi, with a seamless return via the other airport.
